This is unbelievable! Ahhh, kids these days!

Animal Collective announced a new EP entitled Fall Be Kind. It is a play on “fall behind” (you know, when you change the time for the fall season). The collective recorded some of the songs while recording their last album Merriweather Post Pavillion and left others to tweak with over time. Fall Be Kind is supposed to have a darker feel to it.

 I downloaded the live preview and it all sounds great! I kind of worn them out after seeing them live last summer but now I have something to get me back into them.

ps. They are also working on a film! I have no info on it though. They are kind of keeping it to themselves.
